Alia prepares a holiday favorite with a Moroccan twist, Moroccan style mashed potatoes.

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 lbs (650 grams) gold potatoes
3 garlic cloves (peeled)
2 bay leaves
2/3 cup Dannon® Oikos® Greek Nonfat Plain Yogurt
1 Tbsp finely chopped cilantro
Salt, pepper, ground cumin to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Peel and slice the potatoes. Place the potatoes in a large bowl of cold water once peeled so they do not turn brown.
Drain the potatoes from the water, then place them in a large pot. Cover with cold water, add salt, the garlic cloves, and bay leaves. Cook on medium-high heat, covered, for around 30 minutes or until the potatoes become soft.
Drain the potatoes from the water and place them in a large bowl.
Add the Dannon® Oikos® Greek Nonfat Plain Yogurt and cilantro to the potatos. Mash with a manual potato-masher, fork, or food processor.
Season with salt, pepper, and ground cumin to taste.
Serve immediately.
