Strawberry Short Cake

A smoothie that's sure to please. Garnished with a mini waffle so it tastes just like that summer favorite.

Strawberry Short Cake
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup low fat milk 1 cup Oikos® Greek Yogurt, strawberry flavor
  • 8 strawberries (about 1/2 cup fresh or frozen) (no added syrup or sweetener)
  • Optional: honey or sweetener, to taste
  • Handful of ice, if not using frozen strawberries
  • 2 whole grain mini waffles, toasted
Directions
  1. In the container of a blender, combine all ingredients except the waffles.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into tall glasses.
  4. Make a small cut in each waffle and hang off the side of each glass.
  5. Serve with straws and top with a squirt of whipped cream, if desired.
