Caramelized Onions Tartlets

This creative appetizer is sweetly savory and perfectly passable.

Caramelized Onions Tartlets
  • 1 Tsp. olive oil
  • 2 cups minced sweet onions
  • 2/3 cup Dannon® Oikos® Plain Greek Nonfat Yogurt
  • 2-3 Tbsp. parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped chives or parsley
  1. In a sauté pan heat oil. Add onions and cook on medium heat, stirring often, until onions are golden brown (15 minutes). Let onion cool.
  2. In a bowl combine, yogurt, parmesan cheese and herbs mix well. Add cooled onions.
  3. Spoon 1 healthy tsp. per fillo cup and bake tartlets 10 minutes or until golden brown.
